Wit & Wisdom student workbook

Homework this year will consist primarily of independent reading, fluency practice, spelling practice, and preparing for assessments.

All tests will be completed during classtime and will be announced in advance.

Various writing types will be completed each trimester. All writing will be graded according to the district rubric.

Students will be given a journal for independent writing, journaling, free writing, etc.

Your child will have many opportunities throughout the year to engage in independent reading, so they should have a book available every day. I am more than happy to recommend books to you for your child.  I have hundreds of books of various genres available in our classroom library that can be "checked out."
