A few interesting facts about me:
I have been married to my husband Bill (a realtor with Berkshire Hathaway Haddonfield) for ten years. Our son Jack is eight and he's obsessed with Minecraft. For fun, he goes to Kidstrong every week and LOVES to read. Our daughter Lucy is four and she's super sassy and independent. Lucy loves gymnastics, dancing, and soccer.
I've had a lot of jobs in my life including babysitting, donut-making, editing a newspaper, retail, cancer research, and acting... but teaching is by far my very favorite.
I have a cat named Blueberry. She isn't blue.
The most awesome thing I've ever done is watch the sun rise from the top of 10,000 foot tall Haleakala volcano in Maui. Then my husband and I strapped on helmets and rode bikes down the side of the volcano.
This summer I spent 2 weeks down the shore, 2 weeks at the Poconos, and a LOT of time at the swim club.
I grew up in northeast Philadelphia and moved to Laurel Springs, New Jersey two days before I turned 11. I pretended the new house was a giant birthday gift for me.
I spent almost every weekend of my childhood at my family's cabin near Promised Land State Park in the Poconos. My little brother Mike and I would hike, make tree forts, and find salamanders.
My favorite thing to do in my free time is read.
