Welcome to fifth grade! My name is Lauren Sheppard, and I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  The 2025-2026 school year will be my twentieth year of teaching and my eighteenth full year teaching 5th grade.  I graduated from Moravian College in 2006 and began teaching 5th grade as a maternity leave replacement here at Pleasant Valley School that September.  At the conclusion of my time in that position, I continued to work in the district as a daily substitute teacher for the remainder of the school year, gaining experience in each grade from K-6, as well as all of the special area subjects.  I then taught second grade at Harrison Township School for one year before returning to fifth grade.  

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
