It is the mission of our instructors to be interesting and engaging for all students to demonstrate how each course is relevant to their academic and career interests. This is accomplished through hands-on activities, industry partnerships, and opportunities to express individual creativity. All of our instructors are Certified as Highly Qualified by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission to teach Computer Science.

Mr. Chris Lovelock

Cybersecurity Pathway

Chris Lovelock entered the teaching profession in 2012 after receiving his Masters of Arts in Teaching Math and Science from Columbus State University. As a life long learner, Mr. Lovelock recognized the significance of computational thinking and digital learning and it's impact on student learning. Mr. Lovelock added a computer science endorsement to his teaching certificate in order to offer students a comprehensive educational experience in digital technology and computer programming. Recently, Mr. Lovelock has returned to Columbus State University to learn more about Cybersecurity so he can facilitate this pathway for our students.
