Harris County High School has sponsored multiple CyberPatriot competition teams each year since 2018. At the core of the program is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition, the nation's largest cyber defense competition that puts high school and middle school students in charge of securing virtual networks.
The competition season runs from October to January with teams forming in late August. Students interested in joining a team or observing the current competition should contact one of the instructors in the HCHS Computer Science Academy. Instructor contact information can be found HERE.
