Below you'll find the terms and conditions for Hospitality Unite Kickstart scheme.

By submitting this information you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of service as set out by HospitalityUnite (an arm of Harri Technologies UK) and their grant application partners The Youth Group and Springboard as well as marketing/trade body support from UK Hospitality & The Scottish Tourism Alliance.


1. Scope of this Agreement

1.1 Harri Technologies UK grants to the Customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal licence for Harri’s Applicant Tracking & Employee Training software for use with Kickstart Employees. If the Customer proceeds to use the Software, the Customer agrees that it has accepted the terms of this Agreement.

1.2 This licence to use the Software shall terminate if the Customer notifies Harri Technologies UK in writing of their wish to terminate, or once all hired Kickstart employees have completed their 6-month tenure without notification of new hires or cancellation.

1.3 Harri Technologies UK will set up and maintain the Software for the duration of the agreement.

1.4 Except as expressly agreed, the Customer will not rent, lease, sub-license the Software, Third Party Software or Products, nor distribute the Software or Third Party Software to any third party.

1.5 Harri Technologies UK shall have no liability for the repair of defects relating to the Third Party Software, and the Customer’s right in respect of any such defect shall be limited to the relevant Third Party agreements & warranties.

2. Maintenance and Support

2.1 Harri Technologies UK will provide support for any issues faced whilst using the platform to recruit, hire or train Kickstart employees.

2.2 Support items can be raised via email and/or phone. SLA’s for resolution will be provided at the time of implementation.

2.3 Unless as expressly agreed, Harri Technologies UK does not provide Maintenance and Support for Third Party Software or the Products included as part of the Hospitality Unite package.


3. Charges

4.1 The Customer shall receive access to the Applicant Management and Training software free of charge for Kickstart purposes only.

4.2 If at any time the customer wishes to use further elements of the Harri platform OR use it for any other recruitment or training purpose then this will be billable using Harri standard rates. Available on request.


4. Customer Responsibilities

4.1 It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that all information submitted as part of their Hospitality Unite Grant application is correct and complete at the time of submission.

4.2 Harri partners with The Youth Group and SpringBoard to be a representative for your application for kickstart and will complete the duties required of this as set out in government guidelines here.

4.3 Harri Technologies and their partners do not in any way guarantee a successful application for the Kickstart grant but will review all applications before submission to the government. They may provide feedback for clarification, additional/missing information or advice on wording to increase the probability for a successful application.

4.4 If an application is unsuccessful Harri Technologies and their partners will pass on the information provided by the government and a new grant application will need to be made by the Customer.

4.5 Once the Kickstart roles are posted, the Customer is fully responsible for screening, interviewing, hiring and training the Kickstart employee. This includes all administration in relation to checking the applicants DWP status & claiming the grant through HMRC.

4.6 The ongoing maintenance and safeguarding of the young person is also the sole responsibility of the employer through recruitment and then employment.



5. Privacy & Data

5.1 All data provided will be processed in accordance with Harri’s Privacy Policy (https://harri.com/privacy)

5.2 Your application data will be cleansed 12 months after submitting an application. This is to ensure that we still have information on file if you wish to make a secondary application through Hospitality Unite.
