General Information:
NWEA MAP Tests are given in both September and January to grades 6th through 10th grade. Students in middle school are assessed in language, reading, science, and mathematics. High school students are assessed in language, reading, and math. These tests are taken on the student's Chromebook, observed by a teacher, and are not timed. Questions vary depending on the student's response, meaning some students may have fewer questions than others. These assessments provide data to teachers and counselors about student's progress and growth in subject skills. They are not used for grades, but will be considered for advanced class placement and grade promotion.
