The Harlem School District 122 Board of Education is committed to serving our students, families, staff, and community through thoughtful leadership, responsible governance, and a focus on student success.
The seven-member Board of Education is elected by the community to establish district policy, provide financial oversight, set priorities, and work collaboratively with the Superintendent to advance the mission and goals of Harlem School District 122. Through this work, the Board helps ensure that our schools continue to provide meaningful opportunities for every student to learn, grow, and realize their unlimited potential.
Strong public schools are built through strong connections with the communities they serve. The Board values transparency, community engagement, and open communication and encourages residents to stay informed and participate in the governance of their school district.
