Roman Baths

The Roman bath had been built by the end in the first century. In the ancient Rome, people won't just go to the public bath only for washing, people would also go to the bath for healing, entertainment or just for getting clean. The romans oftem stayed at the baths until closing time. After their bath, they would go to the food stalls for some snacks. People were relax at the baths.

The baths in the ancient Rome wasn't free, you needed to pay to get in. The Roman bath was really luxurious. There were some mirrors covering the walls and there were even some jewels and marble had been mosaics on the floor.The baths usually open from mid-morning until sunset. Water in the Roman Bath was heated by a bioler over a fire, it was the hottesr spot in town. People at the Roman Bath would also use a stick called strigils that were used for scrape durt off the body. It was not easy to scrape yourself using the strigils, so the wealthy romans would brought a slave to do the scraping for them.
