To HHS Class of 2020, we've worked so hard to get to where we are today. We shouldn't let these circumstances take over us because we all have bright futures ahead of us.
Frederick Anderson
I am dedicating this speech to the class of 2020. I know we all had our ups and downs. Don't worry we are all fighting for this moment that we all deserve. Never give up on yourself. Let's all keep moving forward and keep our heads up. Love you guys, and stay safe.

All of the hard work we put in this year will be worth it at the end but HHS CLASS of 2020 WE DID IT!

These days might be crazy and we might be missing a lot. But were going to miss a lot more if we don't do our part. We're all in the same boat. Just stay inside, stay healthy, and let's flatten the curve. :)

Dear Class of 2020, sadly our senior year what we've been dreaming of has been taken. Don't feel discouraged yet, this isn't the last you will see from the class of 2020. Head up, dreams higher.
Andre Caban
To all seniors out there. Don’t worry about it we will get through this situation. Keep the heads up, and don’t give up. This is only the beginning, not the end.
Hayden Carrick
You can do this people, the school year is almost over and you will have all the time in the world to do what you want to do! I know nowadays it's kind of hard to find a way to focus but just try your best!
Miguel Cintron
The world is weird right now. There's a lot we had planned for this time and it’s all different. Not what we were expecting but there are so many new things we get to experience. We're the first seniors to finish school in our pajamas. We are the first seniors to figure out zoom classrooms. And we are senior skip day champions. We got this.
Andrea Click
Michael Corbin
Hey Seniors, I know that times are tough right now and no one could have predicted what has happened. The most important thing to do right now is to stay positive and play it by ear.
Emma Cox
Class of 2020, we made it! I know this isn't what we wanted and how we expected our senior year to go. But that's ok. We have so much ahead of us. Our future is bright and this is only the beginning. Much love, Emma
Emily Crouse
We’ve made it this far, don’t let a little pandemic get in our way. If anything, use this to push you forward. Let this motivate you to not take any moment for granted, no matter how big or small.
Charles Damron
You are amazing. You are an incredible human being capable of true greatness. Wake up each day and believe in that greatness.

This virus can only strengthen us as people and as a country. Don't take this time to make excuses or use this virus as a way to push views, instead take time to help others, thank the responders, and the medical staff that are taking care of people who need it the most. Thank the farmers and the truck drivers for growing and moving the food and supplies that we all need to survive this pandemic. I know it may seem hard to think this way but remember we are Americans first, last, and always. Nothing can take us out, I mean we have survived wars from old to new we have survived worse than this little virus. Stay Smart and Stay Safe.
Golina Edquiban
Aaron Eisenhart
I know this not how we all planned our second half of the year to go the way it did. No reason to hang your head or be upset about this. This moment in time that we are experiencing we are not alone. We all are going through this together. In the end of all this and we can look back and say this didn't break us, this is our senior year.
Ihsan El-Hadid
Alaina Eld
It has been a very long year for all of us seniors. We have had our good days and our rough days, but the time has come where we will be graduating and moving onto bigger and better things. We should be proud of ourselves because we did it. We made it. We made it to this day where we could get our diploma and nothing stopped us from reaching this goal. It was hard but we pushed through it. Just know that nothing in life is impossible as long as you take that first step.
Jazmine Etzler
Hey everyone! I know that times are tough right now and you are losing hope, but keep looking forward. Make sure to stay sanitary and stay home so this passes!
Sara Etzler
No matter how hard it may seem right now we're working through it. We're special. We have the ability to do anything despite the circumstances. Don't give up and work as hard as you can.
Riddick Fleming
Work together we are all humans. Don't stop trying and keep pressing on. You will get through everything as long as you don't quit.
Allona Frock
Essentially, each of us are prohibited from interacting with friends and family outside our home, practically cut out of the lives of those we care for. Honestly, it's frustrating, it's hard, and it's painful. I may not be able to fix anything, but I can at least acknowledge one's pain and offer words of encouragement. Even though our lives suddenly had been altered due to Covid-19, change is unavoidable and each of us would have to face it eventually. For instance, as seniors, each of us are about to encounter change after graduation, whether that's going to college, going into the military, or going straight into the working force. No matter the route we each choose, one is bound to experience the benefits and consequences of change. However, I've learned that the longer one holds onto their challenges, fears, and pain, the more danger and harm such negativity can cause them. So, as many dear friends of mine have taught me, I advise to try and look at what good can come out of change - or any kind of situation, good or bad.

I am personally in no mood to be giving a pep talk as I am devastated by all that has been taken away and lost, but what is good for the spirits of others is good for the spirit of the speaker, so though there is a deep sadness, let me articulate hope. There may be a small portion of enjoyment to being able to stay home and be with the ones we love, but do not lie to yourselves, this is a terrible and lonesome time. The greatest solace to be sought in this time is that of a man who has lost everything and is alone, the concept that things can only get better. Yes things fall apart, but every breakage creates something new, every fracture shows a strength even though it is a weakness exposed. Anyway, what I mean to say is that things can only be better when things are at their worst.

Fellow 2020 graduates, this year has not been the kindest to us, but we have to make the most of it. Even though we weren't able to finish our senior year how we wanted, now we can prepare for the new chapter in our lives.

We're all young, with a lot of potential and a future before us, so don't give up. Think of everyone who has ever encouraged you or had faith in you, they likely still do, and let that motivate you to make the best out of every day.
Ma'Raya Heath
Hi fellow class of 2020! I know some of us may be struggling during this time, but we all are gonna get through it. We may not be able to spend this time together, but we are all going through this, together or not. Just keep your head up, and know that soon enough this will all be behind us as a memory.
Jesse Heaton
We are almost there guys, we have put up with school for 13 years, one more month should be feasible. And if you start bored, try getting some fresh air and going on a walk.

Hey guys, hope you all are finding ways to keep you sane in this unpleasant time. We all know that this is not the way pictured our beloved senior year to end, but this should not put a burden on your spirits. Take this time away to work on bettering yourself or preparing for the future. This storm will end my friends, and when it does,I assure we will be ready for the world. Take care.
Alyssa Johnson
Despite the many disappointments this pandemic has brought, one overwhelmingly positive thing can be remembered; the class of 2020 continues to stand strong enough to survive anything. I always knew my fellow classmates would do great things, however this just proves even more so that the resilience of this graduating class can not be broken or matched by anyone. After losing almost everything senior year traditionally brings I still see smiles on the faces of seniors, so if we can smile through this we can smile through anything, good luck guys, I am confident we will all smile through the challenges life will bring and make it to our goals.
Isabella Kapusta
No matter how they say you can't do what thought impossible, prove them wrong. Prove that you are still standing, no matter where you come from. Push hard.
Brandon Kime
A pep talk to my classmates. with everything being closed for an extended period of time we all have had time to sit back and think. The next step in life starts now. The reason is because it’s a new start to the world after everything is closed. New jobs, new ways to go about in life. Even though it's a bad time now the best is still going to come.
Elizabeth Krenzer
I know that this is not the ending we expected, but don't let that take away all of our hard work! We must look at how far we've come, and keep going, knowing that it will get better. Let's get busy celebrating all of the good things!
Griffin Kuhn

Hey everyone, keep your heads up and keep trying. We all need to stick together from a distance and then the year will be over before we know it, everyone.

This is definitely not the senior year we all hoped and looked forward to, but that's ok. Even though we are not there together physically we are all together in spirit. At the end of the day, we are all going to complete what we set out for, graduating high school. This has certainly been a year to remember!
Aldo Michua
Times were difficult but remember things will get better as long as you work on your problem. Don't put off things that can be today until tomorrow. If you find yourself confused, tries things. You'll only know if it's for you if you attempt it.

I know these times have been tough, effecting some of us more than others. But just because the going has gotten tough doesn't mean you should stop and quit. I understand that some may lack the motivation and become lazy, I even struggled with that. But that is just temporary, eventually, you need to shake yourself from that stupor and realize that the world doesn't stop for you. But only you can make that choice, to be left behind or to catch up and ride the waves of life.

Everything is going to be okay! I know it doesn't seem like it, and we all are diving in headfirst to all this. But we got this! I promise.
Jessica Morales-Orihuela
It's okay guys. It's okay to be mad and sad. Everything's going to be fine. Yes it's unfair to us but remember that there's so much more to life. We have to be strong.

We must all stay positive, even when it is hard in a situation such as this. We all have to keep moving forward and enjoy the little things in life.

We have all been together since we were kids, all meeting each other on our first day of kindergarten depending on where you went to elementary school. We later reached middle school and we all formed deep relationships with each other, and it's crazy to think that our time together is coming to an end. It may not be the ending we thought it was going to turn out to be, but it's the one we got. And that is life, life will hit you with curve balls all the time, but as long as we persevere and hold on to the attitude of not giving up when times get hard.
Benjamin Newman
Due to the current situation impacting millions of seniors across the country, many life lessons are taught. This teaches us patience, coping with disappointment, and how to always keep moving forward! I look forward to seeing what’s in store for the future.
Brett Noel
We will get through this. We will be known as the coronavirus class and how we had to overcome that to graduation. All we have to do is stay strong and work together to turn work in and make the best out of what we got. And we will overcome this.

Enjoy Senior year, you never know when it may be over. Enjoy every single second and have fun. This is the last year of High School, grades are important, but take time for yourself.
Cynthia Palacios
I don't really do pep talks, but I think I can give you a little bit of advice. If what you're doing right now isn't making you happy then do something about it. Life is short so make to make the best out of it. Work hard for what you want and need in your life and remember...someone out there loves you with all their being.
Ivan Perez
Most of us were born during a tragic time in 2001 because of 9/11. We are ending our senior year early because of a pandemic. We have experienced many tragedies during our lifetime which some people may think is trauma but for us, it is something that will help form the type of people that we are and will be in the future.

Dear class of 2020, I know the situation we are in was expected by no one, however we can use this time better ourselves. We should work to change bad habits, exercise, and complete our school work.
Ashley Plummer
We all miss seeing our friends, but we can always call, text or even zoom together. Even though I miss school and seeing everyone, I have been able to have an amazing time with my family and my pets. Our bonds will be stronger and so will we when the world is safe again!
Shawn Poole
Even though everything has fallen apart in our senior year everything will be okay. We will live. We will also just get to join the adult world early!
Jamie Putnam
I feel senior year for me was amazing I wished there was more to it though sadly but i'm going to miss it and everyone. As for the future, senior year isn't that bad if anything it's an amazing year you should take senior year in your heart and enjoy every moment of it the best you can while it lasts.
Kassandra Radvany
Focus on yourself and surround yourself with what matters most to you. Try new things, such as recipes or apps on your phone, and develop fresh ideas in your mind. Take a personal day, if possible. If you feel stressed then light a candle, lay on your bed, and play music. Sort your thoughts. You got this.

Hello, life can be challenging but all you have to do is sit back and realize what life has to offer. Think of a positive life for yourself and make your dreams come true, and most importantly learn to love yourself.
Gabrielle Schwartz
Although we are not able to celebrate our accomplishments the same way all of the other classes got to, we still are recognized by our community and we need to remember that. We have so much to look forward to with college and any other future plans we may have. At least people will always remember the class of 2020!

This pandemic is most definitely a stressful and gloomy ending to our high school experience; however, as a class, we've had countless memories in the three and three-quarters of high school. I think it's best that we think fondly on all the great high school memories we've had together. This ending of highschool isn't the one we expected or wanted, but as a whole, high school has been a defining moment for all of us.

As the kid president so eloquently put it, "choose the road that leads to awesome!" That is a great piece of inspiration that I would tell my peers, too. If you take the path less traveled and stick with it through the trials, you will eventually become stronger because of it, which will lead to awesomeness.

Class of 2020, during this time of oppression look inward on yourself. This is time not to stress and lock yourself in a cave of madness, but to explore new things while you have this time of freedom before adulthood rips you back to reality.
