Welcome to First Grade! I'm Mrs. Hakker, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. Although this is my first year teaching at Hanford Christian School, HCS has been part of my story since I was a kindergartener, making it incredibly special to now teach in the same place that helped shape me.

My husband, Eathan, and I have been married for nine years, and we have a four-year-old daughter, Harmony, who will also be at HCS this year. Outside of school, we love spending time together as a family, serving on the worship team at Glad Tidings Church, making memories at Disneyland, and relaxing at the beach.

My prayer for this year is that our classroom is a place where every child feels known, loved, encouraged, and excited to learn. I look forward to partnering with you as we help your child grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Thank you for trusting me with your precious first grader. I can't wait for a wonderful year together!
