Our office provides reasonable accommodations for students with documented disabilities (such as extended test time, note-taking support, assistive technology, and more). Accommodations are designed to remove barriers for students and to ensure access to programs and services. Our team supports an educational environment for success, growth, and opportunity for all students. In college, students choose whether to share (self-disclose) their disability with OAS in order to receive accommodations — they don’t transfer automatically from high school. Additionally, meeting with OAS is confidential, and using accommodations does not appear on transcripts.
We encourage you to visit our table to learn more about topics like these, as well as our intake process, documentation requirements, the services our office provides, and more. We will have staff available to provide guidance, answer questions, and help connect you with available resources. We look forward to meeting you!
