mup (Metropolitan University Prague)

When preparing your Learning Agreement, you can choose from all courses of the study programmes in English taught during the relevant semester, except for International Business courses, where the capacity is rather limited, and International Business courses are therefore reserved for exchange students who have applied and been admitted to study at the Department of International Business at MUP. Other than that, you can choose from both Bachelor's and Master's degree courses and combine courses from different study programmes (an advantage given only to exchange students).

Incoming exchange students are required to take at least 3 core courses (not language courses) and a maximum of 7 courses in total (including language courses) per semester.

The MUP offers the following courses in English: Anglophone Studies, International Business, International Relations and European Studies, and Media Studies.

Language courses are offered free of charge at the MUP. One offer is to learn Czech for beginners at the MUP. Also, the university offers different languages with different levels: English, French, Spanish, German, and Czech.

The city played an important role in history, being part of the Czech and Protestant Reformation, the Thirty Years' War, and 20th-century history as the capital of Czechoslovakia between the world wars and the post-communist period. Many of the cultural sights have survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe, including Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square with the Prague Astronomical Clock, the Jewish Quarter, Petřín Hill and Vyšehrad.

Sciences Po Aix (located in aix-en-province)

Sciences Po Aix has always focused on major societal issues and has made Europe, the Mediterranean, and Geostrategy its areas of expertise.

Linked to Aix-Marseille Université by agreement, Sciences Po Aix is a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles and belongs to the Réseau ScPo, which groups together seven of the ten Instituts d’Études Politiques: Sciences Po Aix, Lille, Lyon, Rennes, Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Strasbourg and Toulouse.

Please read these basic requirements for Admission to Sciences Po Aix as an exchange student from a partner university of Sciences Po Aix: Hold a diploma equivalent to the French Baccalaureate. The equivalent to this in the US is a high school diploma.

Multidisciplinary teaching

Aix-en-Provence is a city in Southern France; it is located about 20 miles North of Marseille. Aix-en-Provence is situated in the south of France, in a plain overlooking the Arc river, about 1.5 kilometres (1 mi) from the right bank of the river. The city slopes gently from north to south, and the Montagne Sainte-Victoire can easily be seen to the east. Aix's position in the south of France gives it a warm climate, though more extreme than Marseille due to the inland location. It has an average January temperature of 43 °F and a July average of 75 °F.

The city is filled with a lot of art and has an incredibly rich history; the city was founded in 122 BC by the Roman consul Sextius Calvinus, who named the springs after himself.

University of Trier (located in trier)

The University of Trier in the city of Trier was founded in 1473. Closed in 1798 by order of the then French administration in Trier, the university was reestablished in 1970 after an interruption of about 172 years. The new university campus is located on Tarforst Heights, a neighborhood on the outskirts of the city. With its 13,000 students, the University of Trier focuses on contrasts: young and yet aware of tradition; internationally oriented and regionally rooted; on the geographic edge of Germany, but in the heart of Europe.

The university's award-winning green campus offers a magnificent view of the city and the surrounding nature. With its modern architecture and unique atmosphere, it is considered one of the most beautiful campuses in Germany.

The subjects taught at Trier University are organized into six faculties, including humanities, social sciences, economics, law, environmental sciences and computer science. Trier University offers more than 100 courses in around 30 subjects. Several master's programs are conducted exclusively in English. A doctorate is possible in all subjects.

Trier is an independent city in western Rhineland-Palatinate. With around 110,000 inhabitants, it is the fourth largest city after Mainz, Ludwigshafen am Rhein and Koblenz. The city was founded more than 2000 years ago under the name of Augusta Treverorum and claims the title of the oldest city in Germany. Trier refers to a city already recognized by the Romans, in contrast to a settlement or an army camp.

The Roman monuments in Trier are part of the UNESCO World Heritage. From antiquity, these include the amphitheatre, the Barbarathermen, the Kaiserthermen, the Konstantinbasilika, the Porta Nigra and the Römerbrücke. Also part of the Trier World Heritage Site are the Romanesque cathedral, which essentially dates back to late Roman times, and the early Gothic Church of Our Lady from the Middle Ages. Trier is also known for its educational institutions. The University of Trier and the Trier University of Applied Sciences are based in the city.

Lithuania

mru (Mykolas Romeris University) (located in Vilnius)

Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) is an international university with campuses in Vilnius and Kaunas, Lithuania. There are currently 7,500 students enrolled at MRU, of which 600 are international students. The offer of the MRU includes bachelor's, master's and doctoral courses of which more than 80% are internationally accredited courses. Preferred majors at MRU are Law, Management, Psychology, Social Work, Public Safety and many more. The name of the MRU comes from the Lithuanian lawyer, scientist and politician Mykolas Romeris.

MRU is known in Lithuania and beyond because it is the country's largest specialized university in the field of social sciences. MRU´s main areas of study and research are: law, public security and public administration. At the MRU, social science courses dominate in the fields of: education, economics, humanities, communication, politics, psychology, sociology and management.

Romanian-American University (located in bucharest)

With over 2.1 million inhabitants, Bucharest is the largest city in Romania. The city is located in the southeast of the country on the Dâmbovița river and about 37 miles from Bulgaria. The city of Bucharest is also the political center of Romania.

The city Bucharest is also the religious center of Romania because it has a large number of churches. The city also has a considerable number of universities which have academies in arts and sciences as well as research institutes. Culturally, the city also has a lot to offer, so the city has many theaters and operas for ballet in Romania as well as a philharmonic. There are also numerous museums of the country's history. In the economic sphere, the city is well positioned so are representatives of technical products, especially machine tools and agricultural machinery, as well as electrical and automotive equipment, buses, trolleybuses and a variety of other goods, including consumer goods.

The University of York is a collegiate research university in the city of York, England. Founded in 1963, the university has grown to more than thirty departments and centers covering a wide range of subjects.
