Welcome to Nissaba's digital literacy course. By the end of this module you will have created a 10-minute digitally based introduction to present to your new non-magical students and school. Don't worry. This assignment doesn't require advanced digital literacy skills, just a willingness to jump in, try things out, and play with the rest of your classmates. We want to see where you're starting from.
You'll also learn about the course itself: a definition of digital literacy, the digital storytelling premise, the value of a Pedagogy of Play within a Community of Practice, and how a frugal professional development curriculum that pairs situationally-relevant learning with a small subset of targeted resources can be more effective.
