Hamilton elementary schools do not allow food or other items to be brought in to celebrate birthdays. Student birthdays are recognized over announcements each morning and will receive a birthday pencil from the office. We will also recognize each child's birthday in the classroom.

Birthday party invitations cannot be passed out at school either. If you would like the home information of classmates, please consider registering for the PTO membership for just $3 to get access to parent emails and addresses. Our intent is never to take away from the celebration of these special moments, but it's important for us to keep the focus on school and learning during the time we are here. Thank you for understanding.

Please write your child’s name on ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that you send to school. Every year the lost and found gets filled with valuable items. If your child's name is on an item, it will be easily returned.

I will be sending paper flyers home throughout the year, however you can place online orders at any time. The books will be mailed to school and I will send them home with your child. If you want to give them as a gift, please just let me know, and I would be happy to hold them until you can pick them up.
