By the end of the year your child will be writing sentences with appropriate spacing and punctuation. Use this checklist to make sure sentences have all that they need!
Letter Handwriting Formation Sheets
For "y": "slant front, slant back & keep on going in the basement".
"d" is "abc-d" which means: make a lower case c, then lift up your pencil, go up top and pull down to make the stick in letter "d". If they hear this phrase, it helps them make sure the "d" is not backwards
"p" is pull straight down, push up, circle around.
"b" is pull straight down, push up, circle around
"g" is circle back, push up, pull down
Practice writing about anything! Have your child use the paper below to write stories about themselves, their family, or a special activity/outing.
