All over the world, better equipped and more lavish hotels, resorts, tours, events, and attractions are captivating even more willing travelers for business or pleasure. The Hospitality & Tourism Youth Apprenticeship occupational area focuses on three pathways:

This cluster trains students in developing basic soft-skills for high performance in a customer service-oriented field.
Students can choose from four different occupational areas with options to specific pathways.
In this pathway, students will build basic skills in following safe food handling and sanitation procedures, ensuring dining area readiness, seating and serving customers, and processing sales. There is one area to choose from:
Food and Beverage
In this pathway, students will build basic skills in operating a telecommunications system, processing reservations, assisting with guest arrival and departure, and registering guests. There is one area to choose from:
Lodging
In this pathway, students will build basic skills in managing office environment, records and reports, maintaining tour schedules, events, attractions, and community services information, performing clerical duties, and responding to customer inquiries. There is one area to choose from:
