New Haven: "A Sanctuary City"

Colin Caplan was born and raised in New Haven. Last Friday, the historian visited the students of Hamden Hall and talked about how New Haven has grown and how much the people have been involved in immigration. Colin said that New Haven has always been a “Rebel City,” and how they have always let immigrants in. New Haven citizens have made many of organizations that support immigrants and help them get settled. Colin Caplan explained that New Haven is a “Sanctuary City” because they do not allow . Colin Caplan always said one interesting fact if he saw the students fading away, he would always quickly add a statement about pizza because he has pride in New Haven Pizza. Colin Caplan Wrote six books. All of them were about the history of New Haven. Two of the books were tour guides for the city.
