I am proud to be a Hamburg Knight! I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary (K-5) / Teacher of English (K-12) / Teacher of Students with Disabilities from Centenary University. I have worked in the district since 2012 beginning as a substitute and then a Paraprofessional until I secured a part time teaching position in 2014.
Personally, I have been married for 31 awesome years to my awesome husband, Mike. We reside in Wantage with our rescued mix, Ginger, and have three fantastic children living in the area. We love to watch sports, little league baseball, college softball and football most of all! I also enjoy reading, cooking, music, relaxing at the beach, camping in the mountains, and spending time with friends and family.
I look forward to working together with you as partners in your child’s growth and development!!
I am a teacher because I love learning; enjoy hard work and helping others find success. I want my students to experience meaningful, interesting learning that applies to their lives. Helping each student progress in all areas of their development— academic, social, language, and motor —is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.
“When I approach a child, he inspires in me two sentiments: tenderness for what he is, and respect for what he may become.”
