Digital Citizenship Parent Forms

The Hall County School District is pleased to provide Digital Citizenship lessons this year from Common Sense Media’s K–12 Digital Citizenship Curriculum. This curriculum is designed to educate and guide young people to harness the power of the Internet so they can become safe, responsible, and respectful digital citizens. The core message of the curriculum is one of empowerment: With powerful digital tools that allow for creation and communication comes great responsibility. The Digital Citizenship lessons will be taught throughout the school year by our teachers, school counselors, and media specialists. You can learn more about the curriculum at https://www.commonsensemedia.org/educators/scope-and-sequence.

If for any reason, you would prefer for your child not to participate in these lessons, please inform your child’s teacher. If you have any further questions, you may contact your school media specialist, school counselor, or the school administration. Thank you for your support.
