Some of Mr. Self's physics students asked him if they could try to balance a few more weights after they finished their lab this week. He told them if they did, to impress him. And wow! Check out the perfectly balanced (in static equilibrium) apparatus they constructed. All of the masses had to be placed perfectly for it to work. Meter sticks, masses, textbooks, and a box of markers made for a fun day.
We are adopting a shark!
This month, ATLAS is sponsoring a hat days on March 26 to raise money to support shark research. The ATLAS students will be adopting a shark. Please support hat day and help us get a shark!
