Monday is Teddy Bear Day. Students can bring a small teddy bear that will fit into their book bags.
Friday is International Dot Day. It is based on the book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. Dot Day celebrates creativity, courage, and collaboration.
In the book, a little girl thinks she can’t make anything in art class, but her teacher shows her that with a little imagination, she can make anything. Students are encouraged to wear anything with dots, and they will participate in activities that will encourage creativity, courage, and collaboration.
Everyone is encouraged to wear red, white, or blue on Wednesday.
