DVA Seventh Grade Showcase

Dear DVA Family,

On March 7, DVA seventh grade will present a showcase of our traveling museum exhibits and other exemplary work completed in academic classrooms or during connections.

Please join us anytime from 4:30-6:00 that night. Students who are presenting may stay after school and enjoy pizza ($1 per slice) and free drinks. 😊 All students should be picked up at the front of the school by 6:30.

  • Life Science Animal Supplies Wish List - having an interactive classroom full of live animals is not a cheap endeavor and many supplies are purchased by Ms. Atwill herself. Any donation would be helpful.

  • Bottled waters - with no nearby water fountains on the hallway, we try to keep small water bottles to hand out to students who forget to bring their own, but we have run out. Donations would be appreciated. THANK YOU to those who have sent some in! The students REALLY appreciate it!

7th grade needs chaperones for our traveling museum exhibits! We will need 2 parent volunteers each day to accompany the presenting students to help with set up and pack up, as well as walking around during presentations as an adult presence.

DVA Recap: Our African Explorer projects covered a wide rang of topics including live musical performances and edible crickets from Zimbabwe.

  • Earn a TRIFECTA of Volunteer Time! Sign-up for the Museum Treasure Shop + DVA Cafe on the same day and fill in three slots to gain six hours of volunteer time. (Cafe 7:30-8:30, Treasure Shop 8:30-10:45, Cafe 11:00-1:00)
