Tip for Families:
Responsible Learning Happens Daily
Taking responsibility for learning involves more than turning in schoolwork when it’s due and studying for tests. For students, it also means giving school their best effort every day.
Encourage your teen to make these responsible habits part of a daily routine:
Reading ahead. By skimming the lesson or chapter for the next class ahead of time, your student will be better prepared for class. Advance reading can also help your teen ask better questions.
Reviewing class notes. Whether or not your teen has an assignment in a subject, a daily review of notes is an easy way to reinforce the material in your student's mind.
Attending every class. Even if your teen does the assignments and reading, it's hard to learn what the teacher thinks is important without being in class. Students also benefit when classmates ask questions they may not have thought of.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Middle School Athletics: Hall County School District Middle School Sporting Events will have an admission price of $5 per ticket. There will be a flat fee of $15 for a family of three or more.
Car Rider Procedures:
In the morning, we will only have 1 line. This will allow our staff to enter the parking lot. Please do not pass the car in line in front of you as students may be exiting on the driver's side. We want all students to arrive safely. In the afternoon, we will have 2 lines to get traffic off Fran Mar as soon as possible. We will merge in a zipper format in the afternoon at the indicated merge point. Thank you!
Insurance:
The HCSD offers student insurance through the company, Student Assurance Services. This insurance is supplemental to a family’s primary provider and will assist with added costs in certain situations. For more details, please refer to…

Consejos para Familias:
Aprendizaje Responsable Ocurre Diariamente
