Today's Lesson Plan:
1. Ask for and collect any agenda pages that have not been turned in by your advisement students. Make sure the student's name, ID number, and advisement teacher's name is on them. Also, have the students check to see that they have signed their signature sections too! Please send those down to the Media Center.
2. Distribute transcripts to the seniors in your advisement group. New seniors to CHS will not have a transcript just yet. Mrs. Lambeth will work with those students individually once their credits have transferred.
3. Have students check their personal information at the top, especially spelling, birth date and social security number (FTE). This transcript is sent to colleges, military, and some employers so this information needs to be accurate.
4.Make sure to post the graduation requirement handout and ask students to review and double check that all requirements will be met by the end of this year.
5.Finally, Project the Rigor handout – CHS Courses That Meet HOPE Rigor Requirements (see second file below *clicking on the arrow that pops up will enlarge the document*). It is very important that students see this to make sure they will meet the rigor requirement plus the 3.0 academic GPA requirement if they plan to receive the HOPE scholarship. The CHS GPA is not the same as the HOPE GPA. The HOPE GPA includes academic and modern languages courses only. HOPE is not final until a student graduates high school.
