Welcome to Chestatee Academy Boys Soccer.
This program is built on discipline, effort, and shared responsibility. From Day 1, we operate with a clear standard, and that standard begins in Red Phase — our highest level of accountability. If you’re here, you’re expected to show up — physically and mentally — for your teammates every single day.
I coach every player the way I want others to coach my own child: with high expectations, direct feedback, and constant support.
This program will challenge your son physically, mentally, and emotionally — and it will reward him with growth, pride, and a deep understanding of what it means to be part of something bigger than himself.
Practice Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Arrival: Players are expected to be fully ready and in my classroom by 3:55 PM. We will almost always start with a classroom session to grow soccer IQ and then head to the field to apply the concept.
Preparedness: Players must bring cleats, running shoes, NOCSAE approved shinguards (not the miniatures), and water every day. ABSOLUTELY no jewelry may be worn at practices (or games for that matter).
Effort: We train with urgency. Full focus and engaged. No walking. No excuses. Every rep is a choice.
We operate in four phases of accountability. Each one is earned — based on how consistently the team meets expectations.
In Red Phase, the team is held accountable as a unit. That means if one player falls short, the entire team feels it. This builds awareness, ownership, and trust — and helps us break old habits and set a new culture. Every mistake or drop in focus results in a team consequence. We move forward when players begin holding themselves and each other accountable.
This is not punishment — it’s a lesson:
We are only as strong as our weakest effort.
Missing a practice (except for a death in the family). During school season, your school team is your priority.
Arriving late (Practice is 4:00–6:00 PM sharp)
Taking lazy touches or careless passes
Lack of effort or walking during drills
Not bringing proper equipment (cleats, running shoes, shinguards, water)
Wearing jewelry or unapproved gear
Failure to communicate absences in advance
Disrespecting teammates, coaches, officials, or the game
🔁 When a player causes a consequence, the team completes it together once that player returns or the issue is corrected.
This is Red Phase. This is where we start.
The faster we earn trust, the faster we grow.
The standard is set — now it’s time to rise to it.
Trust is growing. I won't stop every drill. Players start correcting each other and leading.
Each player owns their actions. Practice runs with high energy and fewer reminders.
Self-discipline becomes the norm.
Elite-level accountability. The team pushes itself.
Every rep is high quality. Every player contributes without needing correction.
We earn this phase — and if we slip, we move back.
Our success relies on strong family support. Every household is expected to:
💵 Pay the $150 team dues on time to help cover uniforms, equipment, referee fees, and team needs
🍽️ Provide a pregame meal at least once during the season
💵 Participate in fundraising
🎉 Assist with the end-of-season banquet
🗣️ Support team values at home by reinforcing discipline, preparation, and communication
