Students have a paper in their Blue Folder that outlines their scores on the MAP assessment we took in August. They have a Lexile (reading) Level on there as well.
Look through your student's bookbag at the end of the week and help them organize their materials. Bookbags are becoming a black hole of loose notes, and that is why many students cannot find what they need to study or turn in. Be careful about what you throw away! We suggest sorting papers into the proper notebooks/sections instead.

Fernbank Field Trip!
On September 17, we took a trip down to Dekalb county and the amazing Fernbank Natural History Museum. The students had a great time and we got to see so many neat things. The large dino-fossils are always a hit and the students, and Mr. Greene had a ton of fun in the Hands on Science exhibit. Thank you to all the parents that joined up.
Stone Mountain is the next Field Trip and it is going to be a BLAST!
