Northwest Halifax Vikings football team holds an overall record of 4-5 as of Oct 30, 2025. Coach Deontre Pittman serves as the Head Football coach and Athletic Director at Northwest Halifax. Under the leadership of Head Coach and Athletic Director Deontre Pittman, the Vikings have continued to build a strong culture of discipline, teamwork, and competitive spirit. This season, the Vikings have demonstrated significant growth on both sides of the ball, showing resilience and determination in every matchup. Coach Pittman and his coaching staff emphasizes player development, academic accountability, and character-building as key pillars of the program’s success. Coach Latasha Hedgepeth leads the Lady Vikings volleyballs team at Northwest Halifax with a clear commitment to developing both athletic excellence and strong character in her student athletes. Under Coach Hedgepeth's guidance, the program emphasizes teamwork, resilience, and academic integrity skills that translate far beyond the court. Our Lady Viking Volleyball team hold an overall record of 4-10.
Coach Jeffery Mills leads the cross country and track program at Northwest Halifax. Coach Mills has a strong focus on endurance, discipline, and character-building. With each season Coach Mills emphasizes that success goes beyond the finish line, it's about improving personally, supporting teammates and embracing the challenge of the race. Under his guidance, every runner learns to set incremental goals, reflect on progress and treat setbacks as fuel for growth. They are RRAC Conference Champs with 7 Athletes receiving all-conference honors. (Brandon Pagon, Jemauri Evans, Jayson Waters, Luquinten Brown, Jordan Freeman, Jeffery Mills Jr., and Joe Hewlin.) Coach Jeffery Mills Sr. received RRAC Cross County Coach of the Year 25-26. Jemauri Evans will compete at the State Level.
