CSA Shares

Back again! It’s like having a farm at the beach. Hale's Family & Community Program is partnering with Powisset Farm again to offer Season Passholders an opportunity to purchase a limited number of Summer Vegetable CSA Shares. Every Wednesday, you can pick up fresh veggies right at South Beach!

A very limited number of these special 8-week shares are only available to our passholders, and only while the Hale's Family & Community Program is in session. Sign up now!

Those who purchase shares commit to picking them up weekly at South Beach on Wednesdays between 12:00 PM and 6:30 PM from July 1 to August 19.

Pickup is available next to the South Beach Garden. You may not change your pickup location or pick your own produce at Powisset Farm.

Because produce is perishable and to prevent spoilage and attract wildlife, any shares not picked up by 6:30 PM on Wednesdays will be given away to friends and neighbors. Refunds and replacements for unclaimed shares are not available.

CSA shares feature organic vegetables grown at Powisset Farm in Dover and are a perfect fit for everyone looking for:

• Fresher and more flavorful produce

• A lower price for local, organic vegetables

• A reason to try new foods and eat more veggies

• A way to support your local farm

Each pickup usually contains seven to nine different vegetables. Typically, a share is enough for a family of three to four, so individuals or couples may wish to split a share with a friend.
