Boot Camp: An interval training class that mixes calisthenics, plyometrics and body weight exercises with cardio and strength training. This class welcomes all levels and abilities. There is nothing better than breaking a sweat and then hopping in the pond post workout!
Hiking Club: Join your friends on a hike around the pond, to Nimrods rock, or to visit some of Hale's other camp programs! South beach sits on the Red Trail and can access much of what Hale has to offer.
Swim Lessons (Beginner): Swimming is a life skill, and it's never too late to learn. However, fear and panic often get in the way of progress as an adult. This class will focus on water comfort and the basics of water safety. We do ask that participants sign up, and participate in all three classes each week.
Swim Lesson (Intermediate): These lessons will focus more on swimming stroke improvement, and learning the fundamentals of swimming for fitness as an adult. Each class may introduce new skills and drills, as well as swimming accessories like pull buoys and hand paddles. We do ask that participants sign up, and participate in all three classes each week.
Yoga: Harness your inner tree in tree pose, zen out listening to the sounds of nature (and children on the beach), enjoy yoga without the walls of a studio. Yoga at Hale is a great way to center yourself during a hectic day.
