Count to 100 while:
swinging, walking, hopping, 10 sets of different exercises
watch Jack Hartmann videos (on you tube) counting to 100
Making piles of 10 will also help in counting by 10's

Cotton Balls Popcorn
Small bathroom cups Cheerios
Identifying Numbers
Using a hopscotch board have student throw water balloon on the square when you say the number
Put number cards on the floor, call out a number. The student will jump on a number or throw a bean bag on the number.
Go on a number walk in a grocery store, in your house or outside. Ask your child, what number is it?
Say a number to your child, have them write it with chalk outside.
Put out numbers on a table or floor. Give your child a fly swatter. Say a number and have your child swat it with the fly swatter.
Jump like a frog onto the hopscotch board when you hold up the number on the paper. Ask what number did you jump on?
Circle numbers in a magazine of newspaper.
Make a hopscotch board or draw circles,squares, triangles (numbers 1-20 in any order) with chalk on the driveway. Find pine cones,rock,sticks,flowers (dandelions) then have student put object in the box when you say the number.
One to one Correspondence/Counting Ideas
Use markers or paint on rocks then place each one in a muffin tin (cereal can be used too)
Deck of cards: have student put objects next to the card with number that corresponds to the card. Ex. 5 of clubs-5 pennies.
Parking lot- using masking tape, tape off floor in strips . At the top of the tape put numbers 1-10.Put number of cars corresponding to the number at top of tape. You could set it up like a highway.
Count around the house:
How many steps?
How many chairs in the kitchen?
How many light switches?
How many bathrooms?
How many spoons? other utensils can be counted as long as parent is there too
How many doorknobs?
How many stuffed animals on the bed?
