Kudos to the Lancaster bookstore team for helping Chef's Apprentice with the delivery of catered lunches to multiple special events.

Kudos to Dianna McGuirk and Candace Stark for preparing and baking 750 cookies for all campuses for the Registration rally.

Kudos to the bookstore team from Harrisburg for helping to wrap and label those 750 cookies. 

Kudos to our courier team of Matt Davis, Jim Koons, and Thomas Schramm for altering their delivery schedule to accommodate on campus catering events.   

Kudos to the auxiliary services leadership team for their presentation during the June 22,2023 weekly zoom meeting.

Kudos to the entire bookstore staff for a very successful end of fiscal year inventory.

Kudos to Dawn Mull and Greg Nixon for their extraordinary efforts assisting with the annual Foundation audit.

Kudos to Dr. Genita Mangum for her willingness to not only lead her team, but to go above and beyond to assist all members of the HACC community. Her foresight, ability to recognize possible issues and proactive approach in resolving them are second to none.

Kudos to Michael Homoki for always being willing to assist the mail center with the courier route when we have staffing issues or emergency projects that require us all to be in the office.

Kudos to Kathleen Conley and Allyson Valentine for volunteering to assist with the LOEX conference held in Harrisburg in May 2023. LOEX is a national library organization that focuses on teaching and instruction with highly regarded conferences.

Kudos to Emily Simms and her team!  Surgical Technology Program Director, Emily Simms reported that ALL of the students who graduated in May 2023 from HACC's Surgical Technology program have all successfully passed their national certification exam and are now Certified Surgical Technologists! 

Kudos to Marcia Waters and Jill Matolyak for their outreach to assist students through the SAP  process. Students are able to continue their education at HACC because of your communication and support. Great Job!

Kudos to Crystal Kline for her data-driven work to review  Student Success Coaching assessment outcomes and plan forward for the upcoming academic year.

Kudos to Jill Graybill, Stephanie Wells and Kerry Wright for your positive and immediate communication with dual enrollment students over the summer. DE students are able to get HACC ready because of your outreach.

Kudos to Lauren Williams for her detailed work and quick response to students and high school partners. We are glad to have you on board at HACC and a part of our Student Success Coaching team. 

Kudos to members of the Advising, Student Success, and OITLE teams for their continued work on the CPOS Lite report, which will improve the registration process for students while also ensuring compliance. 

Kudos to Howard Alexander, Shelly Blanchette, Hannah Brooker, Amie Brown, Melissa Flood, Mikayla Fullmer, Rob Hagstrom, and Katie Leverentz for the detailed work and oversight for the Fall Registration Rally. You have made an impact in the successful registration of continuing students for next semester.

Kudos to Shelly Blanchette and Kim Kelsey for the careful development and implementation of our new enrollment progression dashboard. This resource will allow staff to see where students are stuck along the enrollment funnel and provide specific targeted outreach to improve student’s onboarding experience.

Kudos to Professor Wendy Bratina, associate professor human services, for her support in securing an opportunity with Pennsylvania College of Technology for graduates of HACC’s, Associate of Arts in Social Services to transfer specific earned credits into the Human Services & Restorative Justice (HSJ) Bachelor of Science degree.

Kudos to Professors, Melissa Bleecher, Alexandra Makosky, Ryan Neff, Megan MacIntire, Steve Lustig, and Mrs. Janice Moore, who supported working diligently to finalize the Paralegal Studies program competencies in order to inform the program’s assessment work and revise the program descriptions.

We want to express our sincere appreciation to Professor Annmarie Malchenson, Early Childhood Ed and Professor Dennis Shoemaker, Psychology, for their years of service and dedication to our students. Professor Malchenson has dedicated 19 years of service and Professor Shoemaker 17 years of service as they enter into retirement this coming December. Thus, the Social Science Department wanted to wish them well as they transition out of the College and into a new phase in their lives.
