Welcome! I am Abigail Mannix and I am so excited to be teaching science and social studies to your child... again!! This is my second year teaching and I am so lucky it has been with this group of kids. I have a Bachelor's Degree in History from Eastern Connecticut State University. I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Elementary Education at Georiga Southern University.
I was born and raised in Connecticut and my husband and I moved here to Georgia in 2021. I have two cats my orange tabby cat is named Charmin (just like the toilet paper because that is his favorite thing in the world) and my tuxedo cat is named Bounty (we love StarWars but it also goes with Charmin). When I am not working I enjoy baking, running, reading, and going to the beach.
I love making learning as fun and entertaining as possible all while ensuring your child is safe, respectful, and responsible! 5th grade will be filled with so many wonderful learning activities. I know this year is going to be a blast!
