Welcome to 5th Grade! I am Chelsey Dimsdale and I look forward to teaching your kiddo Math this school year. I have many years of expeience in all content areas for grades 3-5. Math tends to be my favorite subject to teach. I graduated from CCGA (College of Coastal Georgia) with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. I then earned my Master's Degree from GSU (Georgia Southern University) in Early Childhood Education. 

I have a HUGE family! Mr. Dimsdale and I have 6 kiddos! Four beautiful girls and two handsome sons. We also have  three grandbabies which are my WORLD!  Our oldest child is 27 and our youngest is 19. When I am not working, I am spending time with my family and our events/entertainment ususally revolves around sports. We live on a golf course and my goal this year is to learn how to play well so I can join the ladies golf team in my community and try to beat Mr. Dimsdale at a round of golf. 

I am a very hands on teacher and love to incorporate games and team work in class. My classroom theme is UGA Football! My classroom expectations, procedures, and lessons will revolve around me being your child's coach and teaching them the game of 5th Grade Math. We can ALWAYS use donations of individually wrapped candy for our games. I provide pencils, paper, erasers, colored pencils, EXPO markers, headphones, and math manipulatives for all students. Each team will have these items at their group every day. If you would like to donate any of these items throughout the year it would be greatly appreciated.  I am super excited to work with you and look forward to a fantastic year!
