Students will gain an appreciation of micrometer and nanometer units whilst learning about genetics and evolution. Students also develop skills in using microscopes, designing and conducting experiments.

This subject explores factors that can enhance and hinder learning. Students will learn how to enhance their own learning capabilities as they explore topics such as brain development and the anatomy of the brain, neurotransmitters involved in motivation, sleep and theories of emotion.
This subject is an introduction to the Physics topics of Motion, Electricity and Light including both theoretical treatment and practical investigations to develop a foundation understanding in the fundamental principles involved in their applications.
