Allies
Allies
Allies provides a safe space for all students to be themselves, celebrating diversity in gender, sexuality, religion, culture, or ability. We aim to educate the school community about ways to reduce prejudice and discrimination.
We are always looking for opportunities to promote diversity. In the past few years we have spoken at staff meetings and other events such as RU OK? Day, IDAHOBIT Day and International Women's Day.
If you would like a safe space to be yourself and/or if you are passionate about reducing prejudice and discrimination, then Allies is for you!
Allies will meet at the following times and in the following locations -
Middle School Allies - Monday during Period 5 Lunch in MU25
Senior School Allies - Monday during Period 6 Lunch in MU25
It is a great place to hang out, meet like-minded people and just be yourself....
Everyone is welcome!
We are currently on the look out for more student leaders for 'Allies'....
Please contact your 'Allies' staff support members below to let them know if you would like to help lead and develop our Allies program in the future....
