Notebook Set Up
Students will be given a notebook in class to use throughout the year. After each topic covered, students will create notebook pages featuring activities, infographics, and more that will help with the retention of information. At the end of each quarter, student notebooks will be graded for a test grade.
To set up notebook:
Make sure your name and period is written on the FRONT COVER of your notebook.
On the first 4 pages, front and back, write Table of Contents at the top. Then create 3 columns on each page- Date, Title and Page Number
On the next available page, fold the page down into a triangle. Write "Content" in big letters on the flap.
Split your notebook in half. On the next page in the middle of your notebook, fold the page down into a triange. Write "Vocabulary" in big letters on the flap.
Remember to keep up with your notebook and ensure that all pages include a page number, title and a date. All pages should match the pages provided to each student by Ms. Ashley. All notebooks will be graded for accuracy and completion at the end of each quarter.
