Grading

A student’s grade in each course is determined by combined results of examinations and fulfillment of all other course requirements. The quality of the work is expressed by the marks listed below. Most course at Benton Community follow a traditional grade scale. Some courses (specifically in math), follow a standards-based grade scale. Teachers will share their syllabus outlining grade scale information at the beginning for the course. Students and parents are highly encouraged to reach out to teachers with any questions regarding their grading practices.
