 Stay Home if Sick Policy

Ensuring the health and well-being of our school community is our top priority. As part of our commitment to safety, we want to remind everyone of our "Stay Home if Sick" policy. If your child is feeling unwell, displaying any symptoms of illness, or has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for a contagious illness, we kindly request that they stay home from school. This proactive measure not only safeguards the health of your child but also helps prevent the spread of illnesses within our school. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy, as it plays a vital role in maintaining a healthy and thriving learning environment for all. Thank you for your continued support in keeping our school community safe and healthy.

Dear Parents, Carers and GEMS World Academy Community,As we gear up for another exciting academic year, we wanted to take a moment to address an important matter concerning the use of photos and videos of our students for promotional purposes. At GEMS World Academy - Dubai, we understand the importance of respecting your preferences regarding your child's image. We take privacy seriously and strive to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all our students. As part of our commitment to respecting your wishes, we provide an option for parents who wish to restrict the use of their child's photo or video on our Academy's social media, website, and marketing materials (please note that this does not include Seesaw for PYP).Please click here to sign up to the No Photo List. (Please ensure to sign up even if you have done so in previous years if you would like your child(ren) on the No Photo List). Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding the No Photo List. Kind regards,
