About Mrs. Rothmier

Hi, I'm Mrs. Rothmier! This is my twentieth year as a librarian, my 11th year teaching in Grain Valley, and my 5th year at the High School. I graduated from UMKC with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and from  UCM with my Masters in Library and Information Sciences. 

I grew up in Independence, MO with my parents and two siblings and graduated from Fort Osage High School. I now live in Blue Springs, MO with my husband and our Goldendoodle, Harold (who is the HS therapy dog!).  I have three amazing children who are now creating their own families!

I most love spending time with family and friends. I love reading, live music, baking, and traveling. I enjoy relaxing on the beach and hiking in the outdoors.
