Welcome to 5th Grade!
Fifth grade is an amazing year of growth and learning. We are excited to partner with you and your children to make this a successful, productive, and inspiring school year. Fifth graders will have 2 teachers this year.
Ms. Yniguez will teach English language arts and SS.
Miss Kim will teach math and science.
Parent Contact Information
*Parent Square will be used for the majority of classroom notifications. You can select to receive notifications via email, text, or through the app.
Parent Square relies on the contact information entered in the parent portal, so it is important that you make sure your information is updated.
Google Classroom:
Many assignments will be posted in Google Classroom. Your child will have a separate class for each teacher. We encourage parents to log in as their students to monitor their work completion and teacher feedback on assignments.

Back to School Night will be on Thursday, August 24th. Slides will be posted here after the presentation.
Supplies
Supplies: Supply donations are greatly appreciated. Students who bring items from the supply list will keep most of the items for their personal use. We only ask that the paper, tissues, and wipes be donated for classroom use. Supplies will be provided for students who do not bring their own.
Headsets/Earbuds: We have some shared headsets to use with chromebooks. If your child would prefer to use their own headset or earbuds, they are welcome to bring them. Earbuds in a snack-sized ziplock labeled with students’ names are easiest for them to transport during rotations if they prefer not to use the shared headsets. Please do not send any expensive earbuds/headsets.
Donations:
