The Intercultural Engagement Center is committed to providing support for all students at Guilford, including immigrant and refugee students. The International Festival is held every Spring, and is organized by our International Club. The Festival is an opportunity for our international students to celebrate their cultures and their home country, and an opportunity for the campus community to see a physical representation of the diversity of Guilford.
The Soy un LĂder Conference is held every November, and is a day long conference focused on empowering and preparing Latinx, immigrant, and refugee students to apply to college. Students and their families attend workshops on financial aid, the application process, and choosing the right college. The conference serves documented, undocumented, and DACAmented students.
