Krishauna Hines-Gaither is the Director for the Intercultural Engagement Center and the Associate Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Paula Hernandez is the Interim Assistant Director for the Intercultural Engagement Center, and Latinx Community Coordinator.
Liz Torres Melendez is the Immigrant Student Coordinator.
Meet the Immigrant Student Coordinator
The Immigrant Student Coordinator serves students from the following backgrounds: immigrant, refugee, undocumented/DACAmented, etc. Working with faculty, staff, and students, the Immigrant Student Coordinator supports students from immigrant communities through student meetings, advising, advocacy, and other methods to encourage student social, academic, and personal growth. The Immigrant Student Coordinator fulfills the following objectives for students who are from immigrant families:
1. Increase awareness of and access to services at Guilford College
2. Increase awareness of and access to services in Greensboro
3. Aid with integration into Guilford College community
4. Heighten sense of belonging and community
5. Improve academic success and retention rates
