1. Teething (December 2) 

Most babies will develop teeth between 6 and 12 months. Typically, the first teeth to come in are almost always the lower front teeth (the lower central incisors), and most children will usually have all their baby teeth by age 3. All of that drooling at around 3 months, doesn’t necessarily mean they are teething. 

2.Mommy Milestones (December 9th)

You play a large role in your child’s development! You are their first and most important teacher. You give them the exciting experiences they need. However, your role is also to keep them safe. Your days will be filled with chasing after them, cleaning up messes, rescuing them from unsafe situations, setting limits, and lovingly enforcing them. While your role is difficult, it is very important. 

3.  12 - 15 Milestones  (December 16) 

Toddlers love to explore the world around them as they learn through new experiences. Your toddler is developing in many different ways. Developmental milestones are markers in time for what is normal for a child to develop new skills. Most of their milestones will fit into four different areas of development. These are: Cognitive, Language and Communication, Social and Emotional, and Physical, specifically gross and fine motor skills. These groupings are really about the development of your child’s brain and thought processes (cognitive development), their ability to speak and understand speech (language and communication development), the way they are able to interact with others and express their feelings (social and e 

4. Expectations 15-18 months (December 23)

Your toddler is amazing! They are developing in many different areas all at the same time. Your child’s brain and thought processes will mature and become more organized. This is known as cognitive development. You will also see words, sentences, and ideas begin to emerge as they develop in the area of language and communication. There will also be new emotions and new interactions between your toddler and others as they grow through social and emotional development. Finally, you will be excited to see your toddler be able to do more by themselves such as playing with blocks and running and hopping. These are known as fine and gross motor skills, both a part of physical development.

Clases de Padres

1. Salud Oral de tu Pequeno  (Diciembre 2 y 4)

Los primeros dientes aparecen alrededor de los seis meses, pero los primeros dientes pueden tardar hasta un año en salir. El niño promedio tiene una veintena de dientes completos a los tres años de edad. 

2. Hitos de Mami ( Diciembre 9 y 11)

¡Usted juega un papel importante en el desarrollo de su hijo! Usted es su primer y más importante maestro. Le brinda las experiencias emocionantes que necesitan. Sin embargo, su función también es mantenerlos a salvo. Sus días estarán llenos de persecuciones, de limpiar el desorden, de rescatarlos de situaciones inseguras, de establecer límites y de hacerlos cumplir con amor. Aunque su papel es difícil, es muy importante. 

3.  Expectativas sobre el nino 12-15 meses   (Diciembre 16 y 18)

4. A los niños pequeños les encanta explorar el mundo que les rodea mientras aprenden a través de nuevas experiencias.

5. Su hijo se está desarrollando de muchas maneras diferentes.

6. Los hitos del desarrollo son marcadores a tiempo de lo que es normal para que un niño desarrolle nuevas habilidades.

7. La mayoría de sus hitos encajarán en cuatro áreas diferentes de desarrollo. Estas son:

   1. Cognitivo,

   2. Lenguaje y Comunicación,

   3. Social y Emocional, y

   4. Físico, específicamente motricidad gruesa y fina.

 4. Expectativas sobre el nino 15-18 meses   (Diciembre 23) 

¡Su niño es increíble! Se están desarrollando en muchas áreas diferentes al mismo tiempo. El cerebro y los procesos de pensamiento de su hijo madurarán y se volverán más organizados. Esto se conoce como desarrollo cognitivo. También verá como comienzan a surgir palabras, oraciones e ideas a medida que se desarrollan en el área del lenguaje y la comunicación.  También habrá nuevas emociones y nuevas interacciones entre su niño pequeño y los demás a medida que crecen a través del desarrollo social y emocional. Finalmente, le emocionará ver que su niño pequeño puede hacer más por sí mismo, como jugar con tacos, correr y saltar. Estas se conocen como habilidades motoras finas y gruesas, ambas partes del desarrollo físico.
