Years at CHS:
Ms. Brown started working at CHS in 2004, after transferring from Washington High School, where she was the school Social Worker. Before joining the GUHSD, Ms. Brown worked for the City of Phx in a Violence Prevention Program
Educational Background:
Ms. Brown received a Bachelors & Masters in Social Work from ASU & then also completed a Certificated of Graduate Studies (CAGS) from Ottawa University.
Interests:
Ms. Brown loves working with her students & truly appreciates her job, but in her spare time, she enjoys being with her family and friends. She LOVES fast cars, going to church, coffee & her family/pups.

Ms. Brown was actually born in Italy, not England!
Years at CHS:
Mrs. Kellogg started working at Cortez High School in 2024, but she has been in the GUHSD for many years. She taught math and was a counselor at MVHS, was an administrator at both MVHS & AHS and now joins the CHS Counseling team.
Educational Background:
Mrs. Kellogg received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona, a post baccalaureate in Math and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Chapman University, and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
Interests:
Mrs. Kellogg loves traveling, hiking, camping, reading and spending time with family & friends.
Fact You May Not Know:
Mrs. Kellogg was in marching band in high school.
Years at CHS:
Mrs. Jefferson started working at Cortez High School in 2013. She was the school Social Worker, singing to the students for 8 years before moving into the CHS Counseling Department in 2021.
Educational Background:
Mrs. Jefferson received a bachelor's degree in Family Studies & Human Development at thee best University of Arizona (*this fact has not be verified via US News & World Reports Rankings), and Master's degrees in Substance Abuse Counseling & Professional Counseling from Ottawa University. Mrs. Jefferson also attended Grand Canyon University to complete courses to obtain her certificate in Guidance Counseling.
Interests:
Mrs. Jefferson loves singing, dancing, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Jefferson was a cheerleader in high school.
