This page will show samples of what each iteration (build) of the Company Website project could look like. Remember, this is a project that we start at the beginning of the fall semester and eventually becomes part of your FINAL at the end of the school year.
There are EIGHT builds that you will submit for this project. You will do builds V.0.1.0, V.0.2.0, and V.0.3.0 early in the fall semester. After that, you will complete an additional build for each grading period. Finally, you will submit V.1.0.0 at the end of the school year.
For each sample, play close attention to where it starts and how the development changes over the course of the school year. V.0.3.0 should not look like V.1.0.0. Each version/build should get just a little bit better each time.
Here is a progression from V.0.5.0 - V.1.0.0. Notice the incremental design changes in each iteration to improve the UX (user experience).
Here is a full progression from V.0.1.0 (the HTML only version) all the way up to V.1.0.0 (the FINAL version). Notice the incremental design changes in each iteration to build out the site and to improve the UX (user experience).
V.0.1.0: HTML only version
V.0.2.0: first HTML + CSS version (prior to the peer evaluations)
V.0.3.0: first launch after peer evaluation (note: there is no link for this version as it is nearly identical to V.0.2.0 since there wasn't anything that really needed to be changed).
V.0.4.0: end of the second grading period update (fall semester). Student work samples have been added to the PROJECTS page.
V.0.5.0: end-of-semester update ( fall semester). All projects for the fall semester have been added to the projects page.
V.0.6.0: first grading period update (spring semester). Projects page has been reformatted.
V.0.7.0: second grading period update (spring semester). Project page has been updated and reformatted. New content has been added to the home page. A new page has been added to the site.
V.1.0.0: FINAL update of the school year. All pages have been updated and improvements have been made to improve the UX.
Below are some samples for how you can arrange and showcase your projects on the PROJECTS page.
