Our curriculum for this class has been developed by Code.org. In order to access all of the parts of the curriculum and, most importantly, to have all your work saved online, you need to have an account at Code.org that is properly registered with our class.
Follow these steps carefully:
On your Chromebook, be sure you are logged in to your STUDENT GUHSD account (your @guhsd.net account). You must use your student account to sign up for our course.
Go to Code.org and follow the instructions on the screen to sign up with your school/Google account.
Once you have your school Google account linked to Code.org, you will need to click on the link to join the appropriate class. See the options below:
Period 4: Computer Science Discoveries (class code: TFSDQN)
Once your Google account is linked AND you have joined our class, you should be able to just log in to Code.org in the future and all our class information will post to your dashboard.
As always, if you have any questions outside of class, post something to the QPL.
Now you have access to the entire course. Feel free to explore . . . but don't start doing any work yet. Some of the course material will be covered when we are together in a "live" class session. You will complete other parts of the curriculum independently. Full details of what you should be working on each day will be posted in the Daily Class Announcements.
