Welcome to the West Hills High School Band Program. We are a community of musicians dedicated to excellence, creativity, and school spirit. Our program offers something for every level of experience. Seventh Period Concert Band is our classroom ensemble, open to all students, including beginners who want to learn an instrument in a supportive, instructional environment. For those seeking additional challenge, our after-school ensembles — including Marching Band and Jazz Band — provide performance opportunities at our Varsity football games, music festivals, competitions, and concerts throughout the year. Advanced students are encouraged to audition for these ensembles and may enroll in the Honors Band section of the seventh-period class to receive honors credit for their work.
