Students will continue to build upon prior knowledge learned in first and second year art class. Expectations of the student increase as the student advances through the various class levels. Not only will skills grow but also knowledge and recognition of artworks and artists will grow as well. Throughout the year a variety of media will be used with specific assignments and free choice assignments. Third and fourth year art students can begin to use their class assignments to create a portfolio of work for use after high school.
