How the environment can affect the body

The environment can have small changes and/or affect on the body when it comes to exercise. Depending on the activity, the environment can either make it easier or harder for the workout. There are many different environments that can have small changes on a persons workout. Downhill will be easier for a person to walk/run while uphill is harder because the person is going against gravity and pushing their body upwards. A decline will always be easier to travel on because gravity is pulling down as an extra force to make it easier. The environment can have more factors besides incline/decline. The temperature of the environment can also have a very large affect on the body. Running and working out in cooler temperatures is better and more comfortable for the person because hot climates can make the body heat up faster causing more blood to be moving and more energy being used. In hot temperatures, people tend to sweat more because they need to cool down faster. Another type of environmental factor that can affect the body is the terrain. The terrain can have a small impact on the workout and the terrain can even provide different workouts and harder ones depending on the surface. A flat surface on grass or turf will be most likely the easiest surface to workout on because it has no restrictions or testicles. A dirt surface will be a little bit harder to work on because it does not give under pressure. A surface with holes will be one of the most difficult as well as wet and squishy grass because it is easy to fall and has many restrictions that cancel some activities. Each of these environmental factors has a restriction that only allows certain activities to be preformed therefore affecting the body because of the activity preformed.
